Journey

Opera took hold of me at the age of five, when I discovered The Magic Flute. “Took hold of me” … as if I had no say in it, no choice.

Opera reached straight into my body, and since then I have not been able to live without it.

Naturally I steered my life in that direction.

After spending my youth in the Paris Opera’s children’s choir, I went to study music and Italian.

Then, the adventure took shape! As a Franco-Austrian who speaks four languages, I have naturally grown up in this international environment.

Ten years of traveling from country to country, from city to city, at Europe’s greatest opera houses.

Vienna, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Verona, Parma, Salzburg, Paris, Geneva…

I worked there as a stage manager and assistant director and had the chance to collaborate with directors such as Romeo Castellucci, Christoph Loy, David McVicar, Lydia Steier, Amelie Niermeyer, Laurent Pelly, Marie-Eve Signeyrole, and Christoph Waltz…

After working alongside these directors, I am now setting out to explore my own vision as a director.

I approach this new path allowing myself to get lost, to let the unexpected and new exchanges emerge.

Because, isn’t it also through art that we come together?
